Doggie
Activities
Come
along and join in with the fun!
|
If you are looking to have
more time and fun with your furry friend
or wish your dog would come back when called,
then you have come to the right place.
We have put together a wide selection of
activities that mean that you can learn
new things together, sort out old problems
or allow people to get to know more about
their dog and what makes them tick.
Although most of our activities are designed
to be fun we are also aware that some people
need to know more about their dog’s
character and how they will behave around
other dogs and people, so we offer assessment
days and also one to one consults to give
them that special time.
The activities are designed to give your
loved one a taster and hopefully it may
lead to a much closer and progressive relationship
with their best furry friend.
All of our doggie
activities can be booked online and paid
via Paypal by clicking the buy now button.
Once you have booked and paid a member of
our team will be intouch to confirm date,
time and location.

Recall
days @ Southend Lubards Farm &
Ardleigh
Altogether Animals
brings to you a ‘get your dog
back’ package.
This consists of
three stages, they are informative
and practical, recall issues are addressed.
Getting your dog
to come when called can be frustrating,
embarrassing and time consuming, sometimes
even dangerous.
Depending on the
individual, every dog is different
you may come to the first two sessions
or you may cover all three.
How often do you
attend a training class and still
have problems recalling your dog when
you are out on a normal work, or even
have a lack of control aside classes
when out for your supposedly relaxed
walk?

for all Terrier breeds, for all ages.
Puppies and adults new to training
will be in a Beginners level, and
dogs with some basic obedience start

well as introducing some Heelwork
to Music moves and some basic Agility.
The instructor, Joe
Colling, has been training Terriers
of all breeds and ages for several
years, as well as training her own
Norwich Terriers to a high standard.
Working with terriers has shown that
they need an alternative approach
in order to maintain focus and to
keep classes and day to day obedience
interesting enough for them, which
in turn makes taking your terrier
out for a walk much safer and relaxing
for you!

Temperament Testing
- 2hr session
- Introductions
- Full history take from yourselves
- Dog testing with either dogs
or people in a safe environment
- Feedback
- Basic practical and management
work
- The next step
For those dogs with
dog to dog issues, people issues or
general temperament concerns.
Temperament testing
is a behavioural two hour session
held at our Rayleigh premises where
we take a full history from you in
relation to your dog’s behaviour
and then ask your dog a series of
questions. This way we can best help
you and your dog.
We do this by monitoring
and evaluating reactions your dog
has to other dogs and people in a
safe and professional environment.
Here you will be
joined by no less then three Altogether
Animals team members two of which
will be fully qualified, with a wealth
of experience, one of which will be
the founder of Altogether Animals.
This allows us to
assess your dog’s temperament
and why he/she is reacting in the
way they are.
Through this two
hour session we can give you answers
to many questions in relation to why
your dog reacts the way it does and
how we can help by presenting you
with some basic initial practical
work and management. The next step
will be a plan to work towards changing
your dog’s behaviours.
Many of our team
members and most definitely the people
you meet on the day have had first
hand experience dealing with dogs
they have rescued and brought through
similar behaviours themselves.
Therefore they will
deeply understand the concern and
anxiety and distress you may be feeling
living with a dog that you love dearly
and experiencing at times aggression,
nervous and inappropriate behaviours.
We are here to support
and help you through these tough times.
